WHAT MAKES US VALIANT

Those who do not move, do not notice their chains. Our strength grows out of our weakness.

In my perception, struggle is the food from which change is made, and the best time to make the most of a struggle is when it's right in front of your face. Now, I know that might sound a bit simplistic. But, too often we're led to believe that struggling is a bad thing, or that we struggle because we're doing something wrong. I disagree. I look at struggle as an opportunity to grow.

True struggle happens when you can sense what is not working for you and you're willing to take the appropriate action to correct the situation.

Strife and struggle can inspire us to overcome adversity and to propel ourselves to real achievement. It is the struggle itself, not the result that builds character.

Thus, as human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make has significance. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads.
When you know you are right, stay the course even though the whole world seems to be against you and everyone you know questions your judgment.
Those who accomplish change are willing to engage the struggle. Because they knew the fruit of it, what makes the end the beautiful, thus struggle is beautiful. Be courageous and prevail against.

When you prevail -- and you eventually will --if you stick to the job – they (The World) will all tell you that they knew all along you could do it.

“The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just.” Think about it for moment....

And “It is not what we read, but what we remember that makes us learned.   .....

It is not what we intend but what we do that makes us useful. ....

And, it is not a few faint wishes but a lifelong struggle that makes us valiant.”
